Register at Testnet Deribit

Caution

We recommend you use clearly different names for your production (www.deribit.com) and testnet (test.deribit.com) accounts to prevent accidental trades in the wrong environment.

The testnet environment of Deribit is completely separated from our production environment. Login details are not interchangeable and you will have to sign up to both environments independently.

Register with email

Tip

If you set up a corporate account use an email that can be shared within the company.

To register an account with an email follow next procedure:

  1. Open the Deribit website. www.deribit.com for the production environment, test.deribit.com for the test environment.

  2. Click "Create account".

  3. Fill in the required data:

    • Email address

    • Country

    • Referral code (optional)

    • Accept the terms

    • Username

    • Password

  4. The email requires verification and a verification link is sent to the email.

  5. Click the link in the email.

  6. Setup two factor authentication (2FA).

  7. Complete the verification process. It is necessary to complete verification before any trading can be done.

Is verification required on testnet?

Verification is not required on testnet. You should not upload any documents in our verification area on testnet, this is for testing purposes only.
