Creating an Account on Deribit

Step.1 Visit Deribit's Registration Page

Visit the appropriate Deribit website:

Click "Create account" in the top right corner.

Deribit offers three convenient registration methods:

  1. Registration using email

  2. Registration using Google account

  3. Registration using Apple account

Register using email

Tip

If you intend to use the account as a corporate account, make sure to use an email address that can be shared within the company.

To register an account with an email follow next procedure:

  1. Fill in the required data:

    • Email address

      Caution

      Please first verify that your email address has not been leaked in data breaches of other services.

      Caution

      Don't add the word deribit to an email address that you intend to use for your Deribit account, such as deribitaccount1@gmail.com

    • Country

      Notice

      Please make sure your country is not on the Restricted Jurisdictions list.

    • Referral code (optional)

    • Accept the Terms of Service, Privacy Notice and Fees

    • Username

    • Password

  2. To complete your account activation, please verify your email address by clicking the verification link sent to your inbox.

Register using Google/Apple account

  1. Select "Google Continue" or "Apple Continue".

  3. Approve the required permissions (including two-factor authentication for Apple users).

To enhance security, Deribit requires all users to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) before accessing their accounts. Warning

If you sign up using Google or Apple but do not set up 2FA immediately after registration, you may encounter a rate limit error when trying to access your account. To avoid issues, make sure to enable 2FA right after completing signup.

Step 4. Account Verification

Deribit requires all users to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and enhance account security.
