Enter the account email if the request is made from the login page. This is not required on the account settings page.

If the email matches that of a Deribit account, you will receive an email titled ‘Link for password change’‘ from noreply@deribit.com in your account email. If you cannot locate the email, please check folders for filtering or your spam folder.

Click link in the email to reset the password. A popup will open on www.deribit.com.

This email is only active for 10 minutes. If this was received intentionally, it should be used as soon as it is found.

How long is the password reset link valid?
Password reset links are time-sensitive and active for 10 minutes. If the link expires, request a new one via the same password reset page.

Can I reset my password if I no longer have access to my email?
Yes, but you’ll need to go through a manual verification process. Contact support for help in recovering access.

What should I do if I forgot my 2FA code as well?
If you can’t access your 2FA device, mention this when contacting support. They will guide you through 2FA recovery and password reset.

Is my account locked during the password reset process?
No, but for security, we recommend completing the password reset promptly. If you suspect unauthorized access, request an emergency account lock.
