For security reasons, there is no method to change your Deribit account’s email address associated with the account without strict and stringent security measures being passed first.
Note
We do not offer to change emails of accounts that have no history (trade, deposit, withdrawals) prior to the email change request.
If you would like to use a new email, you can open a new account with the email you would like to use and verify this account. After you have opened your new account you can delete your old account. Please refer to Account Closing article for more details.
For accounts with usage, deposits and trading activity, we will perform several security checks. Please contact our support or create a ticket.
Please make sure to send the information from the email address that is linked to the Deribit account. If you do not have access to that email be clear to state the email with which you registered your account.

Please make sure to hold the same ID that was used for the onboarding process (KYC) when the account was created

Send a picture of you (selfie) holding the ID you used to complete our verification process, showing the (complete) side with your name and photo and holding a small note with the current date, your account alias and the word 'Deribit' written on it. Use of self-timer is advised.

Once our compliance team has approved your re-verification we will start the email change procedure.

Will changing my email affect my account or funds?
No, your trading history, funds, and settings remain unchanged. Only your login email will be updated.

Can I use an email that was linked to another Deribit account?
No, each email address can only be associated with one active Deribit account.

Can I change my email if I’ve lost access to it?
Yes, but you must pass an enhanced verification process. Contact support as soon as possible to begin this process.
