Note
This release has been rescheduled from 26 March 2026 to 31 March 2026
⚠️Expected downtime: 15 - 30 minutes
Client impact: Maintenance 9 AM UTC - The system will be down for around 15 - 30 minutes. Client systems will not be able to communicate with Deribit during this time.
We are re-enabling the restriction that limits each subaccount to a single HFT node at a time. This ensures that each account maintains API/FIX sessions on only one node; if the same account logs into a different HFT node, the platform will automatically disconnect any existing sessions on the previous node.
This follows infrastructure changes from the February 27, 2026 release, which updated the logic to allow for safer node switching.
We have expanded our AWS PrivateLink support to include three distinct gateway groups of ports (802x, 2802x, and 3802x) to facilitate access to different HFT nodes.
Please refer to our updated Deribit AWS Endpoint Service Instruction article for the full list of supported ports and DNS configuration requirements for SSL-enabled traffic.
-
Node Configuration: Restrict each account to a single HFT node. Attempting to run the same account across multiple nodes simultaneously will now result in intentional disconnects.
-
Connection Resilience: Ensure your FIX/WebSocket clients are configured to automatically reconnect to your intended HFT node following a disconnect.
-
Update AWS PrivateLink Settings: If you use AWS PrivateLink, review the new groups of ports and ensure your Route53 Private Hosted Zones are updated to support SSL on ports 443, 2443, and 3443.
