Starbase Go-Live: Market Data, Drop Copy & Gateway Connectivity
Deribit's new high-performance matching engine, Starbase, begins its phased production rollout at 09:00 AM UTC after scheduled maintenance. The following capabilities are enabled:
Member & API Key Setup
Starbase API keys can now be created through the Starbase section of the Account Settings. Before creating keys, a Member must be configured from the main account. Please ask your (technical) account manager to activate Starbase access for your production account.
Gateway Connectivity
Colocated, cross-connected and AWS PrivateLink connectivity to Starbase gateway pairs will be activated. Gateways run in hot-hot A/B configuration with independent rate limits per side.Four SBE Order Entry session endpoints are available for connectivity testing: Logon, Logout, Heartbeat, and Test (Session Messages). Full order entry access follows on August 4.
FIX Drop Copy
The FIX Drop Copy API is available for consolidated order and trade visibility across all gateways. This feed disseminates Execution Reports for order book activity and Trade Capture Reports everything else, such as for block trades and position moves.
Multicast Market Data
Multicast market data feeds begin propagating to client servers within LD4, AWS eu-west-2, and AWS ap-northeast-1 for all derivatives. Feeds are L3 (market-by-order) data with A/B redundancy, organized by product group and product type (perpetuals/futures, options).
